You are welcome. We are all different. When I started writing I intentionally didn't send it to ANYONE and just labored anonymously for a while. Some of us need some time to find our groove. I am glad you liked Yield to Spring -- it was fun to write. Sometimes I find myself too serious and my post becomes entirely too long. I guess I still struggle with what topic ends up top dead center in my head. I've added you to my list of shortcuts to keep up with as time avails. This week we are FINALLY YIELDING to spring so the outdoors is our priority.
Thank you!!! I think I’m still finding my groove with this one too. Hopefully I’ll branch out into interviews and go in more of a Cafe Anne-esque direction soon!
I have done one interview and it was GREAT. Anne is the kindest of Substack authors with her time and opinion. She ended up giving me some advice when I did my interview. It turned out to be FUN! I have met so many interesting people in my life, interviews could be fun, I'm just not sure I am wired to ask. I am of the strong opinion that ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING can be interesting and I suppose the same is true of every person if you ask the right questions. If you become serious about doing interviews I would be glad to share what I have learned so far. In another hobby of mine, I do interviews of distant family members to capture their legacy. The nuts and bolts of how to do it is important IMO.
I love this one
Thank you beesandbela!!!!! So inspired by your poetry always
Good luck with your new Substack. The beginning, no matter what it is can be lots of fun if we let it.
Wow, thank you! I really enjoy your newsletter, especially Yield To Spring, and I appreciate the encouragement!!!!
